    DAS MOERISCH****s can now also look forward to receiving the prestigious "Bierkrone" award. The Bierkrone is jointly awarded once per federal state by the Brau Union and the publishers of the gourmet guide Gault Millau. In addition to the variety of beers he offers, Sigi Moerisch probably scored particularly well with his statement at the award ceremony: "Whether champagne or beer - for us it's the same!", which earned thunderous applause. "Why not order a Pfiff as an aperitif? Beer is a noble thing with a lot of history. To serve it with a perfect head, everything has to be just right, from pouring to hygiene, temperature and glasses, and that's standard in our establishment."
